Stephen

Hello! I am Stephen (pronounced Ste-ven). I grew up in the western half of North Carolina. Growing up, I was always getting into something. I have always been very active and enjoying activities outdoors. Kayaking and camping are huge passions of mine.

My family was at church three times a week. Going to church put me on the path to always trust in God and to understand the importance of putting Him first in my life. Through the good and the bad, God has always been there.

Hi there! I've always found writing to be a great way to express myself and my emotions. Growing up I was the quiet artsy kid who hated being the center of attention. Journaling was my way of expressing my thoughts and also became a way I would talk to God. Over the years, I would fill the pages of numerous journals, some of which I've kept. It's great to look back on the tear stained pages and see how God's always been there, and His word is never in vain!! I've been able to grow closer to Him doing those quiet moments.

Eastern North Carolina is where I call home. I have three siblings; one older sister, one younger sister and a younger brother. I am truly blessed that my siblings are also my best friends. Incredibly thankful for them every single day.

I'll share the story of how Stephen and I met in a blog post, but we are newlyweds!! We were married on January 2022 in a pretty cool renovated mill, and it was one of the most wonderful days of my life. After Stephen and I were married we moved to a smaller town closer to the western part of the state.

Some of my passions include creating art, visiting museums, trying new foods, cooking, and anything outdoors with our very energetic corgi Oliver.
